That, combined with Armenia’s ancient oenological culture, inspires us to chart the future of the birthplace of wine while reclaiming the mantle as a producer of the world’s most desired wines.
ARMENIA WINE
“Armenia Wine Company” started in 2006 from the vineyards planted in Armavir region, south-west of Armenia, and later turned into a big winemaking project. The winery itself was founded in 2 years later, in 2008. Winery is located in Aragatsotn, one of the viticultural regions of Armenia. It is situated between Yerevan and Mount Aragats, Armenia’s highest peak.
KATARO
Located in South Caucasus, this region is one of the very few places on Earth where grows Khndoghni (Sireni) grape variety. Indigenous to this region it has been a source of perfect home-made local wines, until Avetissyan family presented the Khndoghni wine to the world. In 2017 Kataro Red wine won the Grand Gold Medal at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
ARMAS WINERY
Creator of the best Karmrahyut wines. Golden Grape ArmAs winery was founded in 2007 by Armenak Aslanian, who repatriated to his motherland for the realization of goals that involve the intertwined aspects of family. The parcel of land that was untimely chosen is located in Aragatsotn region. Wines made from Karmrahyut grapes of this winery are exceptional and surprising.
TRINITY CV
The story of Trinity Canyon Vineyards started in 2009, when three wine aficionados decided to step into the world of wine. Assisted by an equally passionate group of winegrowers and winemakers, they established a unique vineyard in the Vayots Dzor Highlands, in the close vicinity of the world’s oldest wine producing site dating back some 6100 years.
HIN ARENI
Autochthonous grape varieties Areni Noir & Voskehat. Vayots Dzor Region and Areni village in particular has been the cradle of Armenian winemaking for millennia. The findings give the grounds to assert that Armenia is one of the ancient areas where grape cultivation, processing and wine-making was developed. A 6,100-year-old winery was discovered in 2007 in the the village of Areni.
ARIKON
Abrikon is a distillate from Armenian apricots. The Ararat Valley gave the world a delicious fruit - the Armenian apricot (Prunus Armeniaca). ABRIKON exists in a natural version (without aging) and in an aged version in oak barrels and apricot barrels. No flavoring or coloring additives are used in the preparation of ABRIKON. The dark color is due to aging in barrels.
